If you're looking for an evening of pure classic jazz, Jim Tobey gives you what you want with Jazz Impressions, every Wednesday from 9:00 - Midnight. From Chu Berry to Don Cherry, King Oliver to King Pleasure, WAER presents a musical and cultural history of jazz. Learn more about America's jazz legends through the music and historical perspectives Jim Tobey can offer.

Jazz Impressions offers classics from Charlie "Bird" Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Charles Mingus, John Coltrane and Thelonious Monk and will often honor the work of these and other masters with special features on the history and development of American jazz.
