Green Party Officials Ride Trikes and Register Voters

The Green Party took advantage of the beautiful fall weather, and rode around the city on a trike registering people to vote. The party used National Voter Registration Day as an opportunity to make sure people were registered to vote, and to spread the word about the Green Party.

Salvation Army's unassuming storefront on South Salina St. houses more than 40 human service and community programs they say serve 41,000 people.

Police Arrest 18-Year-Old Suspect in 7-11 Valley Drive Attack

Syracuse Police Chief Frank Fowler announced during a press conference earlier today that 18 year old Romeo Williams is now in custody in connection with the attack that took place over the weekend in a 7-11 parking lot on Valley Drive. He said James Gifford, 70, was attacked from the front without evident provocation,

“Williams lunged at him, striking him in the face so violently that it knocked him to the ground rendering him unconscious.”

Syracuse Back To .500

The Orange showcased its new "all-blue" uniforms in its 52-17 drubbing of Tulane

Syracuse (2-2) rolled Tulane 52-17 Saturday in SU's second home game of the year. A week after coach Scott Shafer won his first game, Terrel Hunt followed suit capturing his first victory as the Orange's starting quarterback. The redshirt sophomore picked up where he left off, leading the Cuse to eleven straight scoring drives at one point dating back to the game versus Northwestern.
