Four More Consensus Meetings to Be Held Starting Monday

  Consensus, the Commission on Local Government Modernization, will be holding four more public meetings  starting Monday Feb. 8 to Thursday Feb. 11 in Salina, Camillus, and Syracuse. 

The meetings, which are open to the public, let residents give input on the Consensus Options Report and Preliminary Committee Recommendations, which was published last month, and are supposed to help inform residents about topics from the shared maintenance of roads to consolidated ire protection and metropolitan governance.  

This weeks meetings are: 

Monday, Feb. 8, 2016

  • Southwest Community Center -  401 South Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13204
  •  6 – 8 p.m.

Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016

  •  Salina Town Hall - 2001 School Road, Liverpool, NY 13088
  • 6 – 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016

  • Camillus Town Hall - 4600 W. Genesee Street, Syracuse, NY 13219
  • 6 – 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016

  • City Hall Commons - 201 E. Washington Street, Syracuse, NY 13202
  • Noon – 1 p.m.

This public comment period will continue through March 16, and a final report is set to be released by the end of April.
