Hundreds of fans gathered at Driver’s Village Friday in support of republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz.  Michael Skroupa was excited to hear Cruz address matters of foreign policy and military actions.

"I want to hear about what his plan is to deal with ISIS.  That's a growing problem that's destabilizing the region.  I also want to hear what he's going to do about Russian aggression  going on right now."

Cruz believes that there America has always been reluctant to use military force, and reassured the crowd that he will not be afraid to use excessive force when necessary.

"We will have a commander-in-chief who stands up and says to the world, 'we will defeat radical Islamic terrorism."

Ted Cruz is considered to be the most conservative candidate compared to Donald Trump and John Kasich.  But his supporters don’t believe that’s a negative.  Cruz supporter Patricia Tower believes that his strong conservative values will be a unifying force that can restore hope to a broken country.

"I think he's for things that the United States should stand for, and we're getting away from those core beliefs," Tower said.  "He's just going to bring us back to our roots, and I think he let's us know what we almost think is lost, there's a possibility of getting it back."

Cruz reassured the audience that his conservative morals will carry Republican Party to victory.

Supporters picked up t-shirts declaring who they're voting for Tuesday.

"There's going to be a new generation of leaders in the republican party who stand and fight for liberty, who stand and fight for the constitution, and who stand and fight for the Judeo-Christian values that built this great nation.  Thank you and God bless you!"
