SU Students Protest Lack of Mental Health Resources

Syracuse University students held a vigil on Friday afternoon to advocate for more mental and sexual health services on campus.  The group, known as THE General Body, said that students are significantly affected by a lack of services and the closing of the Advocacy Center. The demonstration included speakers, singers, poets and testimonies. The students said that the number of medical professionals directly affects their ability to thrive on campus.

Emma Edwards, a senior at SU told a personal story about Emma Wozny. Wozny was a Syracuse University student who died last September.
