The Syracuse men's lacrosse team takes on Northeast Conference champion Bryant in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday in the Carrier Dome. WAER's coverage starts at 7 PM with Countdown to Face-off. The game follows at 7:30.

After winning the Big East Tournament Championship last weekend for the second straight season, the Orange was rewarded for with the top seed in this year's 16-team field.
Bryant, on the other hand, is 8-10 overall and is making its first NCAA Tournament appearance. The Bulldogs boast the conference player of the year in faceoff specialist Kevin Massa, who leads the nation in faceoff winning percentage at 71%

However, Syracuse has won 11 NCAA championships to its credit, most recently in 2009.

The winner meets either Yale or Penn State in the quarterfinal round.
