  The nearly 19 million dollar expansion of Inficon’s facility in East Syracuse is entering its final stages.  Motorists passing by on I-481 have probably noticed the progress over the past several months.  President Steve Maier  says the high-tech company says the decision to expand was based on growth potential after almost 25 years at their current location.

A packed room of job seekers had the chance to make the right connection in Liverpool Wednesday.  That’s just what Congressmember Dan Maffei hoped for when he arranged the Job and Opportunity Fair.    Inficon was among many companies that have immediate openings.  Human Resources director Sue Magary has 10 to 12 openings because business is doing well. "We won the President's award for export this year because our company mainly exports.  So it's great we're able to produce something here in the Central New York area that goes other places.
