Syracuse Crushed at Home by Johns Hopkins

Mar 10, 2018

Nate Solomon and Tyson Bomberry sat out of Syracuse's (3-2, 1-0) brutal 18-7 loss to Johns Hopkins (3-2, 0-0) and their absences were certainly felt.

Coming off a road win against Virginia, Syracuse seemed to have put the crushing loss to Albany behind them. However, a lot of the same mistakes and issues cropped up again in this blowout to Johns Hopkins.

Syracuse Lacrosse Clashes with Johns Hopkins

Mar 10, 2018

Cardiac 'Cuse is back. Sixth-ranked Syracuse (3-1, 1-0) won back-to-back games by a single goal and will look to take that momentum into a matchup with another lacrosse powerhouse in 16th-ranked Johns Hopkins (2-2, 0-0).

The previous meeting between these two was a thriller in Baltimore a year ago. Brendan Bomberry scored in overtime to give Syracuse an 8-7 win. Nate Soloman scored two goals as well to aid the Orange, but will not be in action Saturday because of a suspension for his hit on a Virginia player.
