WAER's Liz Tosi

The 315 is a brand new WAER original podcast hosted by Joe Lee and Kevin Kloss. The purpose of The 315 is to foster a positive view of the region by highlighting local individuals, businesses, and organization that are bringing life to the Syracuse area.

On the first episode we get a guided tour of the new Redhouse Arts Center and talk about what this new space means for downtown Syracuse and the arts community.

Visit The 315 Facebook Page for a visual tour of the new Redhouse Arts Center.

A local foundation and theater have come together  to improve access to the arts for up-and-coming performers and audiences.  The Central New York Community Foundation recently awarded the Redhouse a $25,000 grant to construct a "lab" theater space, which provides public performance space for educational programming.  The grant and planned uses for the theater were highlighted as part of Community Foundation Week.

Syracuse’s Red House Theater has announced the line-up for its mainstage productions that will start later this year.  The theater is taking on ambitious works and sticking to its mission.
