ATLANTA, GA - Syracuse (3-4, 1-2) was throttled 56-0 to Georgia Tech (4-3, 3-2) at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta on Saturday. The Orange offense struggled to get off the ground, amassing just 75 total rushing yards and 133 passing yards. SU head coach Scott Shafer was most frustrated with his team's inability to stay disciplined.
"Too many penalties today," coach Shafer said, in reference to his team's nine infractions for 91 yards. "We need to mature quickly as a team, but it starts with me."
