Onondaga Community College starts a new policy Thursday, July 1 to ban all smoking and vaping on campus. The policy, a year in the works, cover buildings and all outside areas, as well. Officials say the main reason is health of students and staff, but it also prepares students for future workplaces that will have smoking bans.
