SU Lacrosse got past Bryant, 12-7, in the NCAA Opening Round Sunday night inside the Carrier Dome. Dylan Donahue led the Orange with 3 goals, while Kevin Rice added 2 goals to go along with 2 assists. Tewaaraton finalist JoJo Marasco paced the midfield with a pair of goals as well.
The Syracuse men's lacrosse team takes on Northeast Conference champion Bryant in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday in the Carrier Dome. In a unique twist, No. 5 Syracuse (11-3) finds itself squaring off against No. 6 Notre Dame (10-3) for the second time in six days when the 2013 BIG EAST Championship commences on Thursday, May 2. The Orange and Irish meet at 4:30 p.m. at Villanova Stadium.

Georgetown (5-8, 2-3 BIG EAST) scored a pair of late goals, but No. 3 Syracuse (10-3, 4-1 BIG EAST) stifled the charge and held on for a 9-8 win against the Hoyas Saturday, April 20 in front of 2,736 fans at Multi-Sport Field. The win closed the book on a grueling stretch of five games in two weeks for the Orange. Syracuse went 4-1 over that period, but each game went down to the wire and was decided by a single tally.
